DESCRIPTION:Register Here \n\n\n\nIn this 60-minute session\, we will define and explore what Mindfulness and Self-Compassion are and how they can reduce pain and discomfort\, reduce stress\, and enhance our ability to live a life beyond simply struggling with our illness and pain.  The workshop will include an overview of the subject matter\, guided meditation\, and time for Q&A.\nBy the end of the time\, participants will be able to:\n1. Define what Mindfulness is and what Self-Compassion is\n2. Describe and engage in practices to grow these qualities\n3. Be able to apply these skills to daily life\n\n\n\nThis event is in Zoom meeting style format\, but camera is optional.
