TMA Men of Color Affinity Group Meeting

Thanks to the initiative of TMA’s Women of Color Affinity Group and group founders Sherrod Bundage and Mustafa Shameem in getting this off the ground, this new group now meets quarterly on the first Wednesday as a way for men of color who are living with myositis to connect, share their stories, and learn more about myositis and how they can navigate the challenges of chronic disease. We appreciate new leader Ricky Marks for keeping this initiative going!

About the Leader

Ricky Marks was diagnosed with IBM in 2016.  He is a member of TMA and is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors Governance Committee.  Ricky retired after thirty-six years with the Pharmaceutical Company Bristol Myers Squibb. Ricky has a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science degree and received his RPh in 1978.  Ricky resides in Powder Springs Georgia, married to Cynthia Marks, and has two adult children, Christopher and Kamron. He is a lifetime member of Kappa Alpha Psi and loves all kinds of sports in particular professional football.
