| In this 60-minute session, we will define and explore what Mindfulness and Self-Compassion are and how they can reduce pain and discomfort, reduce stress, and enhance our ability to live a life beyond simply struggling with our illness and pain. The workshop will include an overview of the subject matter, guided meditation, and time for Q&A. By the end of the time, participants will be able to: 1. Define what Mindfulness is and what Self-Compassion is 2. Describe and engage in practices to grow these qualities 3. Be able to apply these skills to daily life |
