How much is registration for the MyoCon 2026?
Early registration is $359 (April 1–July 1)
Regular registration is $359 (July 2–August 28)
Late/on-site registration is $399 (August 29–September 27)
What is the refund policy?
Your MyoCon 2026 registration is refundable less a $50 processing fee if you cancel by Friday, August 28, 2026. After this date, the registration becomes non-refundable. To cancel, please send an email to myocon@myositis.org.
What is the transfer policy?
You may transfer your MyoCon 2026 registration to another person with no fees by Friday, August 28, 2026. After August 28, 2026, there is a transfer fee of $25. To transfer, please send an email to myocon@myositis.org.
Can I pay by check?
Absolutely! You will need to email myocon@myositis.org to request a code that will permit you to register with check payment. After you complete the online registration, mail your check to TMA at 6950 Columbia Gateway Dr., Suite 370, Columbia, MD 21046. Checks must be received by Friday, August 28, 2026.
Hotel & Room Information
How do I book my hotel room?
As soon as your event registration is confirmed, you will receive your confirmation details via email that also contain a link to the hotel booking site. We have negotiated a preferential single/double occupancy rate of $189 per night (plus taxes). These rates will be available until August 28, 2026, or until the conference guestroom block fills, whichever comes sooner.
Is there on-site parking available at the hotel and how much is it?
TMA has negotiated a discounted rate of 20% discount on Hyatt’s current rates. As of April 1, parking rates are $50/day for valet parking and $40/day for self-serve parking. Please note that self-serve parking is limited and not available on Friday or Saturday.
Is there a group rate for the hotel rooms?
Hotel guestroom booking information is provided in your registration confirmation email. The TMA group rate is $189. To secure the TMA group rate, you must book your lodging no later than Friday, August 28 or when the block sells out, whichever happens first. All conference attendees are strongly urged to book your hotel rooms exclusively through the official hotel booking link provided in your conference registration confirmation email.
Are there ADA rooms available at the hotel?
The Hyatt is holding all ADA rooms exclusively for TMA attendees. The Hyatt has 10 ADA rooms with a roll-in shower, and 17 ADA rooms with a bathtub (hearing accessible and/or general ADA rooms).
At this time, most of the roll-in shower rooms have been assigned to TMA conference attendees. Please email myocon@myositis.org to be added to a waitlist.
The Hyatt also offers approximately 200 standard rooms featuring an eight-inch step into the shower. If you would like to have a shower instead of a tub, please make a note in the special request section when making your reservation.
May I bring my pet?
The hotel welcomes guests with disabilities traveling with their service animals. Service animals are not pets and are not subject to the pet policy below. For more information, please contact the hotel.

Conference Schedule, Program, Meals
What is the schedule for the conference?
The schedule will be available soon. When it is available, you can view it here: https://www.myositis.org/myositis-conference/ or on the app after August 1, 2026.
Do I have to select the sessions I want to attend in advance?
All conference sessions are first-come, first-served. For safety, attendees cannot block the aisles in a session room.
What meals are included with my conference registration?
MyoCon 2026 conference registration includes some meals and refreshments. Friday: Welcome Reception – light hors d’oeuvres and a limited bar; Saturday: breakfast, lunch and a snack break; Sunday: breakfast. Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?
Yes. Please be sure to let us know if you have any special dietary requirements by completing this information on the registration form. If you have further questions regarding special dietary requirements, please email myocon@myositis.org.
Does my conference registration include the Heroes in the Fight Awards Celebration (reception and dinner)?
No, the awards celebration on Saturday, September 26, which includes a networking reception and dinner, requires a separate ticket/donation that can be purchased during your conference registration transaction or on its own. Tickets for the event are $75.
Financial Assistance/Scholarships
Is there any financial assistance to attend MyoCon 2026?
Yes – thanks to our generous donors, TMA will provide a limited number of conference scholarships. With a TMA scholarship, the registration cost is waived. TMA will provide a limited number of scholarships for members in need. Please read through this entire page before applying: https://www.myositis.org/myositis-conference/myocon-scholarships/. Conference scholarships are available for TMA members only. If you are not a member, please join TMA before applying.
What are the important dates for the scholarship and where do I apply?
Scholarship applications open April 1, and close May 15. Scholarship recipients will be notified by June 15. The scholarship application and more information can be found here: https://www.myositis.org/myositis-conference/myocon-scholarships/.
What does the scholarship include?
Scholarship recipients will receive:
- A Complimentary Conference Registration; plus, one registration for a companion
- 2 Heroes in the Fight dinner tickets
- 2 Excursion tickets (if space is available)
- 1 stipend to be received at MyoCon ($250 for US recipients, $500 for international recipients).
If I am applying for a scholarship, should I register for the conference?
You should wait until after scholarship recipients are announced on June 15 to register for the conference. Once chosen, scholarship recipients will receive a code to cover the cost of registration. Early bird pricing does not end until July 1, so there is still time to register for MyoCon 2026 at the Early Bird price if you do not receive a scholarship.
How will scholarships be distributed to the recipients?
Scholarship recipients will be provided with a code to use when registering for MyoCon that will waive the conference fee. Scholarship recipients pay for their own hotel and transportation before the conference and will be provided with their stipend at the conference.
Conference App
Will there be a conference app?
Yes! There will be a conference app that will help you navigate MyoCon 2026. It will become available for downloading on August 1, 2026. The app will continually be updated throughout the conference.
Other Questions
What is the attire for the conference?
Smart casual. Meeting room temperatures and personal comfort ranges vary widely. Meeting rooms may seem cold, and you may want to dress in layers or bring a sweater or a jacket. We recommend that you wear comfortable walking shoes. Heroes in the Fight Awards Celebration is a dressier affair.
Can I volunteer on site at MyoCon 2026?
Absolutely! Volunteers are essential to the conference’s success. Only registered conference attendees may volunteer. Volunteer opportunities will include first-time conference buddies, session mic runners, marketers, and conference correspondents. Volunteer sign-up will open after July 1, 2026.
What if I need to rent a wheelchair or scooter while I am in St. Louis, MO?

Can I bring a guest?
Absolutely! If your guest is planning to attend any of the conference events, please register them on the conference registration form. The same conference fees will apply since guests may attend all meal functions and sessions with you. If your guest is not attending ANY conference functions, they may share the hotel room with you, then you don’t need to register them. But without a badge (which they would receive if registered), they may not attend any conference sessions, breaks, or meal functions with you.
